Hydraulic machines therefore often require an industrial cooler.

The cooling capacity of these coolers is represented by a variety of unit systems, such as: w/oC, Kcal/h, W, cal/s, m2, etc.

The selection of the cooler requires more specialized knowledge, rich design experience and practical testing. Cooler selection calculations are difficult for unfamiliar engineers and are often easy to make mistakes or improperly selected (too big or too small). Different types of coolers use different unit systems to indicate cooling capacity, which often makes it difficult for technicians to make correct selection calculations. At present, the selection method of the cooler is mostly to apply the previous successful cases, and often the input power of the hydraulic machine has changed, the volume of the fuel tank has changed, the throttle flow of the system is different, and the working conditions of the hydraulic machine are different, and the previous structure is applied. The model is not applicable.


The normal working temperature of hydraulic machine hydraulic oil is generally 150C~55%. When it exceeds 55°C, it will automatically alarm to remind users to open the cooler. If it exceeds 60°C and lasts for more than 5 minutes, it will stop automatically.


Small and medium-sized hydraulic presses mostly use plate coolers, which are cost-effective. Small hydraulic machines or hydraulic systems with low system power use air-cooled or tubular coolers. Large hydraulic machines have large power consumption, fast working speed, long pressurizing stroke, and high heat output. The industrial oil cooler is generally equipped with good cooling effect, but the cost is high.
